The Story
The Toronto City played at Varsity Stadium from 1961 to 1967 before eventually folding in 1967. Even though the Toronto City were a strong team in the 1965 season, it wasn't enough to keep the blue and red in Toronto. With players like Thomson Allan & Joe Davis donning the blue and red in Toronto, the Toronto City should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Toronto City soon folded and became no more.
