The Story
The Rochester Lancers played at Holleder Memorial Stadium from 1967 to 1980 before eventually folding in 1980. Even though the Rochester Lancers were a strong team in the 1977 season, it wasn't enough to keep the gold and blue in Rochester. With players like Jim May & Warren Archibald donning the gold and blue in Rochester, the Rochester Lancers should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Rochester Lancers soon folded and became no more.
