The Story
Team America played at RFK Stadium in 1983 before eventually folding that same year. Even though Team America were a strong team in the 1983 NASL season it wasn't enough to keep the red and white in Washington, D.C. With players like Arnie Mausser & Tony Bellinger donning the red and white in Washington, D.C., Team America should have been able to fill seats. The reality however what much different and with low attendance, Team America soon folded and became no more.
