The Story
The Detroit Express played at the Pontiac Silverdome from 1978 to 1980 before eventually folding in 1980. Even though the Detroit Express won the 1st round in the 1978 American Conference, it wasn't enough to keep the orange and white in Detroit. With players like Steve Hardwick & Ian Davies donning the white and orange in Detroit, the Detroit Express should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Detroit Express soon folded and became no more.
