The Story
The Dallas Tornados played at Cotton Bowl from 1967 to 1981 before eventually folding in 1981. Even though the Dallas Tornados were a strong team in the 1981 season, it wasn't enough to keep the blue and red in Dallas. With players like Sandy Davie & Tommy Millar donning the blue and red in Dallas, the Dallas Tornados should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Dallas Tornados soon folded and became no more.
