The Story
Once upon a time, Off-Track Betting, or OTB, was NYC’s legal bookie as a place to collect horse racing bets. Founded as a Public Benefit Corporation in the 1960’s whose proceeds were meant to help fund the city’s schools, hospitals, and first responders, OTB, at it’s height, had over 100 storefront betting parlors, becoming a fixture of NYC’s street culture before it was shuttered in 2010. Taking cues from the ads OTB used to run with celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Rodney Dangerfield, we recreated the beautiful “NY Bets” script on our classic tee.
Crafted with the intention of being the softest shirt in your lineup, our signature tees are made with premium airlume (for softness) and ringspun (for durability) cotton combined with poly to make the perfect tee👌 that wears and feels like a well-worn favorite. Our garments are printed with inks that actually blend into the fabric giving it more character and true vintage look with every wash.
