The Story

The New York Skyliners played at Yankee Stadium from 1966 to 1968 before eventually folding in 1968. Even though the New York Skyliners were a strong team in the 1968 season, it wasn't enough to keep the blue and white stripes in New York City. With players like Osmar Miguelucci & Juan Masnik donning the blue and white stripes in New York City, the New York Skyliners should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the New York Skyliners soon folded and became no more.
