The Story
The Chicago Spurs played at Soldier Field from 1966 to 1967 before eventually relocating and moving operations to Kansas City in 1967 to become the Kansas City Spurs. Even though the Chicago Spurs were a strong team in the 1967 season, it wasn't enough to keep the white and red in Chicago. With players like Willy Roy & Nick Krat donning the white and red in Chicago, the Chicago Spurs should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Chicago Spurs soon folded and became no more.
